GCU Groups

It works through a network of GCU Groups...supporting the work of local churches - but not attached to one particular denomination

• Groups meet in homes..halls..schools..in many parts of the UK and in the Republic of Ireland
• Most meet weekly on whatever day girls are free
• The teaching of the Bible as God's inspired Word is central. A varied and interesting programme ensures that the teaching is relevant to different age groups
• Groups with several leaders and Assistant leaders can cater for a wide age range
• Groups with fewer leaders, aim at a limited or even a specific age range eg 5-7; 11-13; 12-14
• One-up or Connect Groups for older teenagers meet monthly with bible teaching geared particularly to the issues and concerns which they face
• At 16+, girls can be appointed as Junior Leaders...beginning to take responsibility and the first steps in leadership
• Special Events - Activity Days...Reunions...Regional Weekends...enable groups to enjoy fun activities together
